A Durham thief might have a high-flying caper in the works.
Police said Thursday that a crane truck was stolen from a construction site in east Durham on Monday evening.

The truck, a 2007 Sterling crane truck worth about $100,000, was last seen in the 1100 block of Rosedale Creek Drive near Andrews Chapel Road around 6 p.m. When workers returned to the site Tuesday morning, the crane was gone, police said.
The truck has a North Carolina tag, YA142884.
