A Raleigh man was arrested after allegedly kidnapping and raping a woman on Wednesday.
Charles Hicks Edgerton, 46, was charged with first-degree kidnapping, second-degree forcible sex offense and second-degree forcible rape, according to arrest warrants. He was jailed under a $300,000 secured bond.
