Scientists, Officials Will Meet to Discuss Neuse

The state's polluted Neuse River will get a check-up soon.

Officials and scientists will head to New Bern this week to discuss the health of the river. Joann Burkholder, the N.C. State University researcher who discovered Pfiesteria, will join other scientists. They'll share the latest information on nutrient-related problems and methods of reducing pollution in the Neuse.
