A Durham school bus ran into some power lines Thursday afternoon. The lines remained on the bus which was still carrying elementary students. Duke Power was called along with Durham EMS.
The school bus was on Kenmont Drive, just west of Research Triangle Park when it hit a pole. The transportation for Durham County Schools was not on scene, but said he had heard the power lines were taken off the bus.
