High Speed Chase Ends with Crash

A dangerous situation on Raleigh's roads ended safely Thursday, after police tried to pull over a driver for running a stop sign.

Instead of hitting the breaks for the blue lights, the driver hit the gas. Officers chased the driver down Old Wake Forest Road at speeds reaching 90-miles-per-hour.

The car flipped when the driver took a curve too fast. He was the only person injured. Police aren't sure why the driver ran.
