I got a question from a reader this afternoon about the Pullen Park train, which has been closed for maintenance. She was wondering if it had reopened.
I'm happy to report that it has. It reopened on Saturday and is currently running as usual. The parks department tells me the park's kiddie boats should reopen next Monday.

The park's rides, including a carousel, are open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily. The playground is open from dawn to dusk, daily. Pullen Park is at 520 Ashe Ave. near downtown Raleigh.
