Apex Man Charged in Wife's Death

Apex police say a man who shot his wife and himself will face murder charges in connection with his wife's death.

Investigators say Allen and Linda Holman of Carpenter had a fight Monday morning. She left the scene in her car and he followed. He rammed her car several times during a high speed chase that ended in Apex. When they got out of their cars Allen Holman allegedly shot and killed his wife, then returned to their home near Morrisville where he shot himself

He's recovering from his wounds.
