State Revenue: The Check's in the Mail

If you still have not received your state income tax refund, don't yell at the mail carrier. The North Carolina Department of Revenue says checks are on the way".

The last of the 1996 state tax returns were processed this past weekend. Revenue leaders say things got a little backed up, but now it's just a matter of mailing out all of the refunds.

Over 2 million checks have already gone out.
