One Durham neighborhood is trying to take back its streets with the help of some local college students. North Carolina Central University students are teaming up with people who live around the school.
The new alliance is forming community watch groups, setting up more lighting, and planning student-resident events. Resident Barbara Williams says this partnership is just what the neighborhood needs.
