It will cost about $100,000 a year, but UNC leaders say it's worth it. They're leasing a private plane for the medical school and the system's incoming president.

The plane will be used primarily to whisk medical experts all over the state to help those in need. And yes, it will also be used to shuttle the president to various UNC campuses.
