Two local businesses are getting some attention from Oprah Winfrey.
Burt's Bees, which is headquartered in Durham, made Oprah's favorite things this year. Winfrey loves their 100 percent organic cotton family pajamasso much, she wore them on the cover of the December issue of O: The Oprah Magazine.

La Farm Bakery in Cary has breads featured in December's issue, dubbed the "Favorite Things" edition. The breads featured include owner and baker Lionel Vatinet’s signature 5-pound sourdough “La Farm” boule boasting a “Happy Holidays” or reindeer stencil, their 2-pound multi-grain and their new Scandinavian Rye Bread. The bakery is offering one of each featured bread in a seasonal gift box this year for $36.99.
