A Chapel Hill adult establishment may be forced to close its doors because it violates an obscure state statute.
Police say owners of the Spectrum run an illegal business because the store sells adult magazines, movies and other products. Under state law, a building is not allowed to contain more than one adult establishment, and there is another in the same shopping center.
