A Silver Alert was issued Sunday afternoon for a missing Raleigh man who may be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Derrick Edward Dunlap, 39, was last seen at 5628 Millrace Trail in Raleigh. Authorities said he was wearing a green and yellow hoodie with brown pants.

Dunlap is described as black with short brown hair and brown eyes. He stands 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.
Authorities do not know where Dunlap was headed, but he left his home on-foot.
