Police Expand Search for Prison Escapee

The search for a female prison escapee has now expanded into three states. Police in Tennessee and South Carolina have joined in the watch for Joy Williamson.

The 22-year-old escaped Monday night from the Correctional Institute for Women in Raleigh. Corrections officers think Williamson probably climbed over a barbed-wire fence to a get-away car.

Williamson was serving time in medium security for armed robbery.
