I began my career in local news in 2014 and have told stories for WRAL.com and WRAL-TV since 2016. After focusing on communication and marketing after college, I fell in love with the fast-paced world of news.

There are so many parks, beautiful landscapes and trails for camping and hiking (my personal favorite is Hanging Rock State Park).

Most memorable assignments:
Traveling to New York City and San Francisco for a Facebook video conference, covering Hurricane Florence, writing about the euthanasia crisis in N.C. animal shelters and making my television debut on WRAL-TV's "Pet of the Day."
