Alcohol May Have Been Factor In Fatal ATV Accident

The state Highway Patrol said alcohol may have played a role in a deadly ATV accident.

Troopers said 19-year-old Matthew Denton died when his ATV ran off Wildlife Road near the town of Castalia.

Sarah Laughlin, who was a passenger on the ATV, was flown to Pitt Memorial Hospital with serious head injuries. The 15-year-old is listed in good condition.

A man died in an ATV accident in the same spot two years ago.
