Five Vance Students Suspended In Alleged Sex-For-Hire Case

Five high school students were suspended in what investigators call a sex-for-hire case.

The Vance County sheriff says a girl, a freshman at Northern Vance County High, and four senior boys took part in sexual acts between classes. It began as a rape investigation, but the sheriff determined the acts were consensual. The school system has refused to comment on the suspensions.
