Insurance Agent Accused Of Stealing Money From Wake Baseball Park

An insurance agent is at the center of a fraud scheme involving a Wake County baseball complex.

State officials arrested Ponce Moody. He is accused of stealing $8,700 from Capital City Baseball of Wake Forest. The money was for liability insurance to cover the players.

Moody was convicted 10 years ago for obtaining property by false pretenses.

Capital City managers purchased insurance to cover the players.
