Baby Sitter Indicted In 2-Year-Old's Scalding Death

An Orange County grand jury indicted Monday a baby sitter accused of scalding to death a 2-year-old girl last December.

Jamie Wilson was indicted on one count each of first-degree murder, felony child abuse and assault with a deadly weapon.

Police said Wilson put Briana Faucette in scalding hot water at her home in Orange County and waited hours before calling 911.

Faucette later died from her injuries.

Wilson is currently at the Orange County Jail without bond.
