Authorities halted their search Wednesday afternoon for a 73-year-old man who went missing from Roxboro Road in Durham.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons canceled its Silver Alert for Joseph Stancil at about 2:30 p.m., about six hours after he went missing.
