Community leaders, teachers, students and parents decided to convene a town meeting this week to discuss teen violence.
Dr. Robin Jenkins, the executive director of Communicare, says that while the discussion is a positive step, it is only a step.
"Having a single meeting won't solve the problem," he says. "But it will do a lot toward saying we're a committed community."
