I'm not a runner. I like to do run/walks on the treadmill or through the park, but I'm not capable of doing a half-marathon. Maybe with some training, but my cap is 4 miles - a far cry from 13.1.
But I love 5Ks. The best thing about a 5K is that trained runners and regular people like us can enjoy them. It's a manageable distance - 3.1 miles. It's a great way to burn some calories and you don't have to run the entire time. You can even walk the whole thing if you want.
