Raleigh Police Arrest Victim's Roommate In Apartment Shooting

Raleigh police have a suspect in a shooting at the Apartments at Stonehenge early Thursday morning.

Police have arrested and charged Elbert Byrd, 30, with the shooting. Police say a man was shot several times in the chest at the apartment complex.

The victim, who police have not identified yet, is listed in stable condition. Police say Byrd was a friend and roommate of the victim.
