Wake teacher's aide charged in sex with student

A teacher's assistant at a Wake County school for students with behavior issues was arrested Monday and charged with having sex with a student.

Victoria Kosciuszko, 25, worked at Longview School in Raleigh from August 2013 until she resigned in January 2015, a schools spokeswoman said. According to the warrant for her arrest, Kosciuszko's alleged sex acts took place between December 2013 and January 2015.

Kosciuszko, of 101 W. Camden Forest Drive in Cary, was being held on $35,000 secured bond and was banned from returning to school property or being around anyone under the age of 18 without a parent present.

Monday marked the second arrest in a little over a month for Kosciuszko. She was charged with DWI and open container violation on Sept. 2 in Wake County. She has an October court date scheduled for a March DWI charge in Pender County.
