Facebook goes down for second time in one week

For the second time in a week, Facebook, the go-to website and app for millions, went offline Monday afternoon at about 3 p.m. EST.

Monday's outage marks the third time the service has gone down in the last three weeks. The site previously experienced issues on Sept. 17 and Sept. 24.

By about 4 p.m., most users could access their accounts.
