If you've been feeling constrained by the simple square, Instagram has news for you. The social network is adding support for photos and video in both portrait and landscape orientation.
In a post on the company's blog, Instagram wrote, "Square format has been and always will be part of who we are. That said, the visual story you’re trying to tell should always come first."
