Marbles showcases fort progress during Thursday event

Marbles Kids Museum, along with Triangle area Moe's Southwest Grills, launched a campaign in the spring to raise money to build an outdoor fort at the downtown Raleigh museum.

That campaign was successful. And now, construction is in progress. Marbles will showcase the work during a special event from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday. Admission after 3 p.m. on Thursdays at Marbles is just $2 per person.

The event includes music, games and a look at the fort construction.
