Store Owner Shot Down In Apparent Robbery

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Department is investigating the murder of store owner Benjamin Miller, 67.

Miller was shot several times at about noon Friday in his store, Uncle Ben's Country Store, on Ramsey Street, north of Fayetteville.

Customers found his body behind the counter.

Investigators say it looked like the shooting took place during a robbery.

There are no suspects at this time
