Raleigh man charged with statutory rape

A 33-year-old Raleigh man was arrested and charged Friday with the alleged statutory rape of a 15-year-old.

Brent Allen Hager, of 3950 Glen Verde Trail, #304, is charged with two counts of statutory rape and one count each of indecent liberties with a child and solicitation by computer.

A spokeswoman for the Raleigh Police Department that Hager and the teenaged boy became acquainted through electronic communication.

Hager remained in the Wake County jail Sunday under a $2 million bond. His first court appearance was scheduled for Monday.
