None hurt when planes collide during Bragg training

Two military transport planes landed safely late Monday after colliding during a training flight near Fort Bragg, officials said Tuesday.

The "in-flight incident" occurred at about 8:30 p.m. between an Army C-27J and an Air Force C-130H, officials said.

None of the crew members on either plane was injured, but both aircraft sustained damage, officials said.

The collision is under investigation.
