Missing Fayetteville teens found safe

Police said Saturday that a pair of Cumberland County teenagers missing since Wednesday have been found safe in Fayetteville.

According to police, Desiree Small, 15, and Ethan Blanford, 16, left their homes Wednesday morning to attend Terry Sanford High School. The teens failed to attend school and did not return home.

Fayetteville police have not released other information about why Small and Blanford did not return home.

An investigation is ongoing.
