Cary playgrounds to close for maintenance

Starting this week, Cary will close three playgrounds so crews can resurface the rubber safety around around the play equipment.

Here's the schedule: 

Ritter Park playground closed Oct. 6 to Oct. 12.
Walnut Street Park playground closed Oct. 13 to Oct. 17
Lexie Lane Playground closed Oct. 15 to Oct. 16.

Only the playgrounds will be closed at these parks, a press release says. Access to the greenway and other park amenities will remain open. Work will take place from dawn to dusk. And, of course, it's all weather dependent.
