Roads are posing a serious danger on Monday. The melting and refreezing of roadways is catching people by surprise. Police spent Monday night going from accident to accident.
Numerous accidents occurred on Raleigh's Outer Beltline between Wade Avenue and Hillsborough Street around 10 p.m. Monday. Police reported five accidents involving eight vehicles. Authorities have attributed the accidents to the ice on the roadways.
