Two Raleigh men face statutory rape charges

Authorities have charged a Raleigh man with first-degree kidnapping following his arrest last week on charges of statutory rape involving a 15-year-old girl.

Mundadi Eric Kalonji, 28, of 3233 Calumet Drive, Apt. 6, was arrested March 25 after allegations surfaced involving the girl, who ran away from a Durham home.

In addition to kidnapping, Kalonji faces two counts of statutory rape and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Alezia Tuema Mukoko, 23, also of 3233 Calumet Drive, Apt. 6, was also arrested March 25 on two counts of statutory rape and one count of statutory sex offense.
