Goldsboro man charged with statutory rape

Wayne County deputies arrested and charged a Goldsboro man with statutory rape Wednesday.

Davidson Bailey Scheu, 20, of 1110 Buck Swamp Rd., is currently in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $50,000 bond.

A juvenile who was reported as a runway by her family on Feb. 17 told authorities she was forced into having sex with Scheu and another person. The juvenile was found at Scheu’s residence, deputies said.

The investigation is ongoing.
