Cooler, mostly clear week on the way

The Triangle is in for a mostly seasonal, clear but cool weekend with one anomaly.

Wednesday is the outlier, when temperatures will fail to reach 50 degrees and some may see a few flakes fly in the early morning. 

The rest of the week promises at least the chance for sunny skies and afternoon highs in the 50s.

Monday will be the warmest and sunniest day of the week. Even with widespread sun, it will feel chilly and the high will be about 10 degrees less than the day before.

Temperatures drop and clouds gather on Tuesday, and then skies get mostly cloudy for Wednesday. Wind and some rain or snow showers will start that day, a result of low pressure passing by south and east the Triangle. Little if any accumulation appears likely, and skies should brighten in the afternoon.
