The Everglades are one of America's natural wonders, but unfortunately, after decades of abuse, they were parched and unhealthy. Luckily, the state of Florida and conservationists stepped in to intervene before it was too late with an ambitious habitat restoration plan that includes levees, wetlands, pumps, and other infrastructure to get water moving smoothly into the region again. To everyone's excitement, the Everglades restoration is working better than imagined, exceeding performance projections and setting the stage for long-term recovert.
Miami concrete contractors and a number of other construction experts have been heavily involved with the project, working to rebuild the Everglades, restore habitat, and reserve this precious and unique place.
