Police Evacuate Houses in Downtown Raleigh

Police blocked off a street near the historic Oakwood neighborhood around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Residents, who were evacuated from their houses, said a man was holed up in sport utility vehicle with a gun - apparently attempting to commit suicide.
