Yelverton Faces First Court Appearance

Tyrone Yelverton, 18, made his first appearance in Wayne County court Monday.

The court will appoint an attorney for him. Yelverton is still being held without bond, charged with first degree murder in last week's strangulation death of Mollie Ellis.

Ellis was the mother of a retired Wayne County judge.
