It is the first Sunday in over a decade that services were not held at the New Jerusalem Church in Franklinton.
The fire destroyed the 85-year-old building Wednesday. The investigation into the cause continues. Sunday, church members had to worship elsewhere. People continue to drive by this landmark, seeing memories buried in the ashes.
