N.C. State Race Team To Compete For $2 Million Prize

An N.C. State-sponsored race team is now one of the 20 best in the world.

Engineering students at the university helped build an autonomous vehicle -- a Suburban that drives itself using GPS and an on-board computer.

This week the students raced 200 other teams in California and won a spot in this weekend's final.

They will go up against 19 other teams for a $2 million prize.

The U.S. military sponsors the race to help improve unmanned vehicle technology.
