Man Accused Of Luring Rocky Mount Girl From Home Set To Return To N.C.

The man accused of taking a 12-year-old Rocky Mount girl across the country will return to North Carolina.

Phillip Denkler

told a Colorado court this past week that he would not fight extradition.

The

registered sex offender

is accused of taking Jodie Collie from her Rocky Mount home last month.

Authorities found the girl alive in Iowa several days later.

Denkler was eventually arrested in Colorado.

Authorities have not said when Denkler would return to North Carolina.
