A Duplin County woman faces charges for the role she played in a 4-year-old Cumberland County murder.
Investigators said Linda Newkirk helped Mark Humphrees dispose of evidence related to the murder of Tamela Johnson. Johnson was found stabbed to death inside her mobile home.
