Two Robeson Deputies Resign In Wake Of SBI Investigation

Two deputies at the center of a federal investigation turned in their badges.

Back in March, state and local agents raided the Robeson County Sheriff's office. They seized boxes of evidence, all tied to the office's drug unit and the use of money seized during drug busts.

Deputies James and Billy Hunt, who worked in that division, have resigned.

So far, no criminal charges have been filed in the case.
