Charges Dropped Against Woman Who Fell From Moving Car On I-40

Charges against a Cary woman who may have jumped out of her car on Interstate 40 have been dropped.

Catherine Crowder was charged with reckless driving after witnesses said they saw her jump out of her moving car near the Durham Freeway in May. Crowder's car, then veered off into the woods.

Crowder said she passed out, but investigators do not know why she jumped.
