Highway 64 Bypass Opening Delayed Another Month

Another much-needed bypass will sit idle for another month, a wait that will continue to frustrate motorists.

The highway 64 bypass was supposed to open in June.

But contractors tore up the pavement on the ramps between the new road and the beltline.

They had to fix some misaligned expansion joints underneath.

The repair work will delay the opening until at least July.
