Former CBC Employee Honored At Local YMCA

A local YMCA honored a former employee of Capitol Broadcasting Company, WRAL's parent company, Tuesday evening.

The Garner Road YMCA dedicated its latest expansion in honor of J. D. Lewis.

Lewis worked for CBC for 49 years before retiring in 1997.

During that time, Lewis served on the Garner Road YMCA's board of directors -- on top of his other volunteer activities.
