2005 CIAA Tournament Brings In $12 Million To Raleigh

The CIAA Tournament left its mark and its money in Raleigh.

This year, the CIAA Tournament brought in $12 million in tourist dollars, according to the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau, which is $500,000 more than last year's tournament.

Scoring its biggest financial success in six years, the basketball tournament leaves town for Charlotte next year.
