The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons on Thursday canceled a Silver Alert for an 11-year-old Durham boy who went missing from a home on Cloverdale Drive late Wednesday.
Durham police requested the Silver Alert for Justin Eatmon around 4 a.m. Thursday.

Aisha Howard, the principal at Oak Grove Elementary School on N.C. Highway 98, said Justin rode the bus to school Thursday morning and arrived at the school's cafeteria for breakfast at the normal time.
Developed in 2007, Silver Alert is a system to quickly notify the public about missing endangered adults and children who suffer from dementia or other cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's disease.
It also allows caregivers and nursing homes to report a person missing. In the past, only a family member could report an adult missing.
