Two Plead Guilty In Connection With Wake Deputy's Death

Two teenagers, who investigators say, helped Matthew Grant after he shot and killed a Wake County deputy have pleaded guilty.

Justin Franke and Lawson Rankin admitted to hiding weapons and ammunition for Grant after he killed Deputy Mark Tucker.

Both men testified against Grant at his murder trial, and in return, the state dropped more serious felony charges against them.

Grant was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in December. The accomplices could be sentenced to up to four years in prison.
